Summary:

Sometimes, it's not just fiends one has to worry about.
I had originally pitched a slightly tamer version of this idea to fyre_bird, but she convinced me not to beat around the bush.

Bah, this is getting to be a very bad habit! I just played the game for an hour, got their voices a little more anchored in my head, and thoroughly rewrote the chapter to make the words flow better. No change in content, just cosmetics. ]]
