Cross-posting from DW: It worked

I've been meaning to set this up for a while, but never got around to it. Now and then I was manually copying Dreamwidth posts over to Tumblr and adding cross-links, but that doesn't show a comment count. IFTTT adds that minor but helpful bit of functionality.
So here's what I did.
I used meeedeee's Instructions for configuring IFTTT to automate cross-posting.
I used her recipe cross-posting ALL my Dreamwidth posts to Tumblr. However, I changed up the wording/formatting of the post's body, thus:
Here's a screencap:

While most people will want to set it to publish immediately, I have a terrible habit of editing posts after posting them. So I switched the criteria to "Save as Draft." The nice thing about this is that you can double-check the draft to make sure it looks right before it hits Tumblr, tweak as needed, and upload images.
Once you're happy with the Tumblr draft, publish it, and you can quickly right-click and grab image URLs and add them to the Dreamwidth post. (Protip: You can also grab image URLs from private posts on Tumblr, which is what I did for this post.)
Downside: IFTTT checks to see if it's got any tasks to do once every 15 minutes, so there's a 5-15 minute lag before it hits Tumblr. Also, if you're using Tumblr as an image host, remember, DON'T TRUST TUMBLR. At some point in the future, it may remove said images or do who knows what. But for me, the text is usually the crucial part of my posts. Or, if the images are vital, I've got other places to host them.
