D'oh. You all probably realized this already, but.

-- Yuna's ultimate weapon is Nirvana.
-- Nirvana is a state of Enlightenment/Eternal Calm achieved by breaking the cycle of reincarnation and escaping life's suffering.
-- So the moral of FFX is: ditch dogmatic religions like Yevon and become a Buddhist, or you'll never get anywhere.

P.S. SQUIDOO WILL YOU PLEASE HURRY UP AND PAY US. MONEY IS NEEDED THIS MONTH!!!

I've only seen the first episode and mostly remember an extremely broken young man on a train. Hey there hon!

Sorry I've been so scarce. :/

Also, you guys showed me some odd series with a bunch of angels getting their haloes. I liked it, but it was very bland.

That would be Haibane Renmei, and I don't think you saw very much of it, or, I think, you would not think it bland. It actually has a metric buttload of mythological and religious stuff informing it, and it has one episode that makes me cry every. damn. time. I see it. Much like episodes 37-39 of Utena.

You need to see Evangelion. I suggest Netflixing it, because it's long and involved. It will break the brains of the watchers, I promise.

There's also Angel Sanctuary, which is another big angel series. It is, however, Yuki Kaori's work, and thus at least as brain exploding as Eva, while making less sense than Eva.

It's okay. I certainly know what it's like to deal with someone writing a dissertation. ;)
