Voice Acting Creates Bizarre FFXII / FFX Crossover Possibility.

I noticed something this evening when replaying FFXII.

During the following scene...

...my mental Voice Recognition Software suddenly went PING.

Play the above video starting at 0:25, then, under the cut, listen to the following video for a BIG surprise:

Augh. No matter how often I see that, it still tugs all my melodramatic angsty heartstrings.

Weird, huh?
I'm not able to contemplate the crossover possibilities.

I seem to pick up Nimoy's voice fairly easily. Dal rented that horrible Land of the Lost movie (he's a big Will Farrel fan) and when the hologram Zarn guy started talking, I went oooooh I know who that is (in my head). I just looked at Dal and he knew I had heard the voice and he's like... I recognize it but I don't know who it is. Muah!

Nimoy? Guess again! :)

As for Nimoy-- please explain? He's not listed on iMDB (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0388944/fullcredits#cast) for any of the 3 male judges in that scene.

Yeah, he jumps out, especially now that he's got false teeth.

I love playing "spot the actor," but I always do it with voices. Very funny in that first Star Wars movie when Brian Blessed's voice started coming out of a frog!

heh heh - I have liked Julia Fletcher since she did the voice work for Carmilla in 'Vampire Hunter D - Bloodlust. When I heard Yunalesca I immediately recognized her - and I enjoyed her character even more. ^_^ She has a great voice - very identifiable.
