I love how Lulu is so attuned to the details --the foliage, the cries of birds and even the soil are noticed.

It's interesting to think of the ganderewa as more than just a mindless fiend.

I've never thought of the aeons as being creatures to hang out and keep watch over the party, but it would certainly make sense for this relatively inexperienced pair.

I was wracking my brains trying to think how on earth Lulu and Ginnem could get enough sleep if each of them had half a night's watch. I know Frodo and Sam managed it somehow, but...meep. If one has to set watch every night, one really needs 3 people minimum -- 9 hour night, each person on watch 3 hours.
