Okay I finally got the time together to start reading this, and wow I'm impressed! *grin grin*

Stole an extra quiet moment to read the chapter 6/7.. OMG! I had a feeling that was coming, but part of me was going... hmmmm will you or won't you make that happen... and I am sooo glad you did! You have to love a bit of mind f*cking, it's such a beautiful thing. You are both brave and skillful in equal measure! ^_^

I wasn't going to, actually; I'd thought of the idea, but found it profoundly disturbing, and it would be harder for me to write warm fuzzy lemons after doing that. (My goal for the "resurrection" story is to show that Lulu was basically dead inside, when the pilgrimage started, and have her far more "alive" again by the end. Hard to do if I break her!) So for various reasons I almost wimped out and was just going to have Yojimbo being a horribly creepy voyeur.

However, I mentioned the plotbunny to Fyre bird --that's mneme_forgets -- in passing, and she thought that it wouldn't be enough to satisfy him, so she dared me to go the whole way and try the darker story.

Now I'm flying blind trying to see where to go with it. It's working so far, but i don't have a plan, only an ending!

In fact suggestions and feedback from several folks have inspired whole chapters of this story. :)
