FFX Snow Sculpture Update

You saw the Auron & Lulu snow sculpture that I and my Mom did yesterday.

I tweaked Lulu's dress today and gave poor Auron his jug of nog. Unfortunately I wasn't able to steal Mom's glasses this time, but found a substitute.

ALas, what I was TRYING to do is make a snow-chocobo. it collapsed just as I was putting the final touches on the eye!!!

Chopstick ornaments were pieces of dried broom (the weed poking up through the snow in the background)

The scary part is that Auron's glasses have holographic snake eyes on them (http://www.zymetrical.com/product.asp?3=150).

I... I totally need to do this! Except to do it, I will need some actual snow. Where can I get some of that?!

They're about 3/4ths lifesize; any taller and I think they would've disintegrated. This snow is incredibly dry/fluffy/un-sticky. I think snow-Auron's about 5 feet tall.

As for snow-location, not sure which planet you're on, but there's more snow than usual in much of the U.S. right now!

But perhaps you are Across the Water.

Nope; I live in the San Francisco Bay Area which means absolutely no snow unless Fimbulvetr comes. Although we did get some hail recently.

I want snow in S.F. too

Awesome! Makes me wish I had snow...
If it stays cold, try for the snow chocobo again, even if it's a mini one! I'd love to see one...!
