I'm beginning to hate Auron's collar. It's so hard to find screencaps where it's not covering half his face, and the ones where you can see his mouth are always at the weirdest angles!

These are really, really nice. Wow. Seriously, I'm super impressed by a number of these.

And the screenshots look like a higher resolution than you usually find. Where did you find them, or was is it all cleverly-employed sharpening?

You should really consider making some of these in a larger format, like banner or desktop size!

There's a thought, eh?

Three reasons my screencaps are reasonably good.
-- I've been saving Auron and Lulu screencaps for 2 years and have a big stash.
-- Blue Laguna's video files (http://bluelaguna.net/movies/ffx/fmvs.php) let me tab through each scene frame by frame -- in-game cutscenes as well as the high-quality FMVs -- and select the best. Out of all that footage there's a fair amount of high-poly closeups.
-- That Russian Screencap Thread! (http://www.squarefaction.ru/forum/ftopic2010-0.htm) MUCH higher resolution than normal.

Oh yeah. I've also gotten fairly obsessive about fiddling with masking layers and things like curves and selective color to bring out contrast and hidden details.
