Paper dead except for bibliography and final proofread, tweaking. It sucks. I don't care. I have absorbed as much as I can in a short time about the finer points of Sufi mysticism.

Egyptian presentation dead (of course!) except I need to make some Visual Aids. Last time I broke out the poster board, artists' pens, and pencils and shocked my class by not doing computer art. It was kind of fun! That should be easy provided I don't procrastinate.

Other papers due shortly, but I will at least have a tiny breather.

And.

There is so little FFX being written now -- everyone's migrated to XII, woes -- and no FFX porn. The last time I tried to write some it was flat.

But I will at least try to write some. Maybe a little now, as a reward for finishing the paper that's been haunting me since December. (I really, really, really have trouble with esotericism when it gets beyond a certain level of complexity and jargon. The kabbalah is practically tic-tac-toe compared to some of the stuff we had to read/digest!)

yay for done papers and projects!!!! *hugs* You can do it, you just need that little push and you get everything done with flying colors and amazing pizazz!

eep! well I got a small bite of the ffx writing bug because of Shaydee who recently tumbled upon Stolen Moment which made me reread it and get all *le sigh* again about not having enough time even for one fandom or story it seems lately. Although, we're leaving for Vancouver on Wednesday (driving) and arrive Friday. Might sneak lunch/dessert with cupcake squee! So I know ffx will come up because it has to... or at least rikku talk. so that might bug me into writing again soon.

Hurrah for vanquished papers.

I haven't moved on to XII either.

Though I did write some VII the other day. Erm.

Lately, my fannishness has manifested itself in silly ways --AIMchatter and things like capslock_ff. I've also found ff_100 and ff_exchange to be quite addictive.

I've been thinking of holding some kind of challenge of at aulu; I think something low pressure could word, perhaps along the lines of twilightsrain and first_seventhe's Irvine fan-work-a-thon.

Sounds like an excellent idea. I was thinking of it and hadn't gotten Around Tuit.

I'm letting resurrection iv incubate until it's good and ready, since the start was flat.


I have that unfortunate problem that when one has played a game or movie so much you have it memorized, it's harder to catch the "spark." The Lulu/Ginnem diary entries are letting me flex a slightly different creative muscle. Even if I do keep thinking of Very Secret Diaries, which were originally written to spoof all the badfic out there in which Fellowship members were keeping diaries in Moria and whatnot.

I maintain somewhat stubbornly that it is more plausible for Lulu to have compiled notes from her travels, and/or written a memoir.
