Wellll I was happier a few days ago before I knew what that one way Lulu was keeping Yu Yevon out of her mind was, but I'll let it slide. :P
Because reunion scenes always turn me to mush and this one is very beautiful! I like the stark contrast between the insidious elegance of the false siren Lulu and the ragged determination of the real one, and I really am so happy to finally see her be freed, and loved, and comforted after fighting silently and alone for so long. (I also enjoy that Lulu's immediate concern is for the state of her hair!!)
Asphodel is associated with death and the underworld, so there's some nice symbolism there.
