Whew, yet another chapter that felt like pulling teeth to get it finished. Plot and scenes between more than 3 people are very hard for me. I think this works, though!

Very nice; I like the sense you bring to it that the pilgrimage *is* a difficult thing. It's so easy to forget, when one is simply waving a joystick about, that doing that sort of thing is bloody *hard*!

I know, and the fact that characters can just keep going even after getting SHOT or crushed by huge monsters makes it seem like not a big deal. These folks are inhumanly tough and have magic whatsits to heal themselves in mid-battle, but even so, I imagine the magic can't completely make up for the battering they put themselves through.

Yeah. I think you managed the more than two-three people at a time thing just great. This was one of the better pilgrimage scenes I've read.
