I love Spira and its fayth. I love the Summoners and their dedication. I love the Aeons and those who volunteered to become Fayth.
However ...
With the way death/fiends work, even IF - IF all the current Aeons and Sin and Yu Yevon are destroyed/sent - that doesn't end the cycle. There will still be fiends. There will still be a need for white mages to Send the departed - and there will always be dead that are not Sent.
So - sometime in the future, another fiend will hit on the trick of hiding inside another fiend. It will grow in power and eventually Sin will return. But then? Without Fayth, how can a new Sin be fought? [Of course, without the Fayth battery in Zanarkand, Sin won't be nearly as powerful.] Machina were used against Sin in the past and failed, causing Bevelle to reach ... an 'accommodation', by promoting the Summoner Pilgrimage. What will be done in the future?
