"You really...shouldn't have, Wakka."

"Yeah, well." He cleared his throat. "You like it?"

Lulu eyed the ball of fluff whose furaga spell had thoroughly festooned her black skirts with white hair. "Well."

The kitten flipped over and batted at her fingers.

"I just thought... you were kinda lonely now, and—"

Lulu stiffened. "A kitten is not Chappu."

"Ya, but—"

Tiny claws tore the lace of her sleeve. "Wakka!"

"She's adorable," Yuna said. "May I?"

Lulu's frown softened. "Of course."

Wakka sighed, watching Yuna cuddle it.

At least I made one of 'em happy.

OH Lulu... OH Wakka... You know, for such a short, lol-worthy drabble, you managed to pack a lot of depth into it. Wakka's care and well-intentioned (if not entirely brilliant) idea, Lulu's pain at still-too-fresh wounds that manifests itself as irritation, Yuna's playing peace-keeper and placating the tension between them... And a kitty! "Furaga." XD

It's perfect, really. I love this drabble so much.
