A Day Without Cats? Unthinkable!

owlmoose reports that some group or other decided to nominate today a Day Without Cats-- a day when no Lolcats, cat videos, or other cat-related stuff is uploaded to the net.

Garden is now looking ratty and dead. The heat waves of August and my trip got it. It's nice to look back and see how it was earlier!

Yes. Shelter kitty with no pedigree, but my vet guessed she was part Siamese from the shape of her head. That would explain it!

She's lovely! I love how she's just sprawled out in the middle of the garden. Her meows sound a lot like my Ganon's--loud and piercing!

Awww, I don't understand how people can't love cats. I hear all the time "I hate cats, they're mean." Not my cats! They're just independent, and I love that about them! I don't love dogs but I don't hate all of them. I really like golden retrievers, labs, and other friendly dogs.

My family just lost a cat to a heart tumor =( She was a stray and we adopted her as a kitten. She wasn't even that old when she died. She was the cutest cat who ever lived, I swear. An adorable little tan/gray tiger-tabby. I can't imagine a home without any cats.

ARGH. I'm so sorry. I still haven't gotten over losing a cat in 99... hard to believe it was 10 years ago! They are family.

I like labs and retrievers too! They're great dogs. Alas, I am not a dog person, as I don't have the assertive, clear style needed to train them. I deal better with more self-sufficient critters.
