Disclaimer: My version of Legolas isn't the superhero pretty boy, it's the book version. But I realize "still the prettiest" has become part of his mythology. ;)

Doom, doom...

Eight companions raced frantically for the exit.

"We cannot get out!" Boromir bleated.

"Fool of a Took!" Gandalf panted. "Throw yourself in next time and save us from your stupidity!"

"But it was just a comb!" Pippin gasped woefully. "Why can't he borrow Aragorn's?"

A flurry of green-feathered arrows whistled around them.

Merry turned and threw another stone. There was a yelp. "Keep running, Pip! Legolas is gaining on us!"
