Epic fantasy is what I was weaned on. Almost literally; I read The Hobbit when I was six, but I wasn't quite ready to tackle The Lord of the Rings on my own, so my mother read it to me the first time when I was seven. After which I read it every year. So it has really sunk into my writing. :-)
