I also admit a horrible fondness for Bobba and Jimma. They make the world feel so lived-in! FFX is great at using NPCs for that.
"most successful guardian in history"? More like least, in some opinions (including his own). Most guardians only outlive a maximum of 1 summoner. How much more bitter yet Auron must be, after Yuna (and Tidus) dying, and then he's lauded for it...
