Absolutely. When I first played it, I felt like X-2 ruined a lot of things and improved Dona.
I have a somewhat more nuanced opinion of X-2 now (there is much good in it), but I remain impressed by the Kilika story arc. More importantly, I can see the seeds of X-2 Dona in FFX, making me appreciate her more.
