It's...quick, seductively easy, and there's a fair amount of good fandom discussion happening on it. Since the demise of ff press, it's the most in touch I've felt with ff fandom, a way to see fanart, cosplay, and links to some fanfic, as well as playthrough discussion by some thoughtful fans.
The interface is just awful for back and forth discussion, PMs and archives-- things disappear into the endless-scrolling depths so fast. i think good fandom discussion happens despite the interface. But more sharing happens, more quickly.
It's frustrating.
And thank you. I've hit a nexus of pain, deteriorating cat, and online work roadblocks that have left me in bad shape, but I must count my blessings.
