I'm not really sure what fandom does with Hope, apart from pairing him too strongly with Litghtning because of his one-sided hero worship. I guess I just see the mage prodigy and the sweet mxied-up boy. I had so little patience with him at the start of XIII, between his meltdowns and all-too-realistic lack of competence compared to his elders, but I have grown fond of him. And he grew up to be a very attractive young ubernerd.
