Politics, and my country's Grand Election was just over last night. Oh well nothing surprising in the end despite all the drama over the week.
The characters in X-2 seem to have lost a number of screws in their heads, but I like Gippal (heh). Treat X-2 as some comedy and maybe you will enjoy it better.
