*wistful smile* I had a marvellous online friend in a political forum, a southern baptist minister who, miracle of miracles, was wiling to discuss sex and religion with me even though we were diametrically opposed. He would present his views and evidence, I'd present mine.

I wanted to, because I wanted to understand WHY religious people think I'm damned to hell. He did not judge or attack me-- he thought I was mistaken, but he respected me as a person for coming to different conclusions. And the feeling was mutual. I learned a lot with those discussions.

Unfortunately it doesn't usually work out that well. I've moderated a politics/religion/hot topics forum, and it was exhausting. My hat's off to you for the job.
