Our Story So Far: Thirteen years after Yuna falls in the Final Summoning, Auron has joined Isaaru on a new pilgrimage. A Cult of Sin has arisen, partly due to visions of a Lady seen by those touched by Sin's toxin, partly due to the new Sin's power over the weather. Heading to Djose Temple, Isaaru and his escorts reach the most famous of Sin's "gardens."

That, or I can just read anything into anything, because I have a liberal arts degree.

[profile] logistika_nyx opened up a Meme inviting us to name a pairing, stick iTunes on shuffle, and give her the title and length of the first song that came up as a writing prompt; song length = wordcount (3:06 = 306, e.g.)

I was a goof and asked for Auron/Lulu.

The song? Loreena McKennett's arrangement of Prospero's Speech:

And now my charms are all o'erthrown
And what strength I have's mine own
Which is most faint; now 'tis true
I must be here confined by you

But release me from my bands
With the help of your good hands
Gentle breath of yours my sails
Must fill, or else my project fails,
Which was to please.
Which was to please.
Now I want spirits to enforce, art to enchant
And my ending is despair,
Unless I be relieved by prayer

Which pierces so that it assaults
Mercy itself and frees all faults
As you from crimes would pardon'd be
Let your indulgence set me free.

Is it just me, or does that make a fine farewell speech for a certain Unsent? Except "which was to please" is a little wimpy.
