Ack, and I'm slow to catch up again. Brilliant chapter, again!

I love the subtle-not-overbearing strokes of real life you've given to Spira. From the big and bad --continued scapegoating of the Al Bhed to the minute and idyllic --children playing dueling Aeons, it's all fleshing this Spira out in really thoughtful, inspiring way.

I was happy to see Elma and Lucil poke their heads in. Maester Lucil is an unexpected but wholly believable progression, and Elma's scathing brashness is amusing and apt.

I agree with Mneme's estimation of Auron's speech and the dirty looks afterwards. Haha, Legendary Public Speaker.

While it's true I've not read much fanfic lately, it's been even longer since I've followed a multi-chapter as engaging as this one. On to chapter ten now!
