For a moment I was feeling the systematic destruction of two towns in a row was too much, but I see now that she's targeting the aeons, which makes perfect sense, and losing control enough to attack anything nearby.

I'm not sure how I feel about the illusion of Yuna appearing. I know I shouldn't ask how it was done since Spira is clearly not a logical place to live and is full of magic. On second thought I feel it makes enough sense, given the strange projections of images in FFX-2. I did unequivocally enjoy the rainbows and rain. I like the idea of Sin being so unpredictable and enigmatic.

But I wonder what's become of Auron and if he will come back or if he will try to confront The Lady all alone.

One thing that I found confusing:
"My lord?" Kiryuu's voice rose in astonishment. "But it is an honor to convey the Grand Maester, and ill luck to sail without Yevon's blessing!"

"The latter you will have, Kiryuu, so far as it is in my power to grant it as Maester," Isaaru said.

You mean, they will have "honor" and not "ill luck." If so, I believe it should be "The former you will have." If you mean that they will have good luck rather than ill luck then I would consider rewording it further.
